//About us...

EiKON Games is an indie games development project based in the UK.

Our ranks are made up from diverse professional backgrounds including Ex-Games Industry, IT, Project Management, Electronics Engineering and Audio Production.

We are currently an unfunded, web based team working in our spare time toward the production of commercial quality, indie games with a mainstream appeal.

See the Join Us or Contact Us pages for more.

Further random commentary about ongoing development can be found on the EiKON Blog and feel free to  follow us on Twitter if your electric tele-puter so allows.

//EiKON Games Are...

Mike Large
~ Design Director
Co-Founder of EiKON, Mike originally had the idea for what would eventually evolve into the Epoch Universe around 15 years ago.

Thereafter followed an extensive period of waiting for someone else to make the game(s) he'd always wanted to play ...that didn't pan out so well as it happens.

Plan B. then ...make them ourselves.

When asked "What are the key features of Epoch: Incursion" Mikes' childlike enthusiasm often results in his spilling his food down his shirt and soiling himself.

Mark Nosworthy
~ Art Director
After a chance meeting with Mike in a supermarket car park Mark was lured to a pizza restaurant to discuss a unique business "opportunity".

After being plied with yummy tomato'y dough for several hours Mark finally succumbed to pressure and agreed to form what was to become EiKON Games.

Mark has proven to be a consistent, resilient and steadfast asset to EiKON.
His unwavering enthusiasm for all things Epoch has been left un-dented by the barrage of childlike, crayon crafted "concept drawings" from Mike, even when  accompanied with comments such as "like that, but betterer"

Andrew Edmonds
~ Development Director
Andrew was new to game development when Mike approached him to embark on this venture. When not busy with his full-time employers demands, he tinkers with the over 1/2 million lines of code in the Torque 3D codebase and reads C++ textbooks for fun.

The learning curve has been anything but easy, but he feels that we're well on our way now to creating something truly magnificent.

However, he occasionally wishes he'd just become a farmer instead.

Andrew can often be found crying on his filth encrusted keyboard after receiving yet another email from Mike with the words "Bigger, Louderer and More" included in bold.

"The Suit"
~ Commercial Director
Quietly Anonymous ...for the moment,  reports that "The Suit" is in fact a 50ft high killer robot with laser beam eyes and guns for teeth are greatly exaggerated  ~ although if it were true, that would be *totally* awesome.
